I keep a messy bedroom. Like, teenager messy. My clothes, once never really make it into drawers and closets. They move from the "clean" pile to the "worn once" pile (if appropriate), to the laundry hamper, then back to the clean pile. I have a largish bedroom. It's actually embarrassing how little of my carpet is visible. I've finally gotten fed up because I haven't been able to find socks in weeks that without conducting a 10 minute search. I felt suffocated by my clothes.
So today, one of my chores, during homework breaks, is to clean up my room. I had to do laundry. So I picked up everything piece of clothing on the floor and placed it either on the bed, or in the laundry hamper. The dirty clothes are being washed. The clean ones are sitting in a (huge) pile on my bed waiting for the next homework break (what?! somehow this counts for homework, surely :p). The pile is easily 2 feet high. And about 3/4 the length of a queen size bed. It's sickening the amount of clothes. And yet, I alway feel like I *never* have anything to wear. And, I'll tell you that I feel that not in the typical way that women always think they have nothing to wear. Like, I have NOTHING to wear. I end up wearing the same 5-6 outfits over and over.
What I can't decide right now is whether I'm just diseased, or if I need a complete wardrobe overhaul. I'm leaning towards the former.
(Oh and this is AFTER a major wardrobe cleanout 1.5 years ago at which time I gave away 5 garbage bags full of clothes - wtf?!?!)

The wheels on the bus...
I start school again tonight. After a 5 year hiatus, I've signed up for a 3 1/3 year program part-time. I'm partly excited and partly wondering what the hell I've done to myself. :p
I'm perservering with the thought that it opens up a whole new pool of potentially cute guys. ;)
