Shock

Adam just missed.

I hardly expect a person to be perfect, yet I'm still in a state of some shock.

Maybe because I already didn't feel good about the Colts' chances and now this just seems to be a sign that maybe it won't happen.

Shake it off, Adam. Shake it off.

Signs you need to clean out your wardrobe

So I'm finally putting some clothes away today. (I'm embarrassed to say how long some of these clothes have been on my floor, but we're talking a magnitude of months, not weeks, here). And I realize I'm slowly running out of drawer space and hangers. Because, since I never really put my clothes away during my last couple of shopping sprees, I sorta never realized I had outpurchased my storage capacity.

So then I remember the bottom drawer of my one dresser. And I know I store, in that drawer, old shirts for wearing around the house, or at the gym, or for painting (presuming I ever, actually, do anything house-work-y like painting). And I figure there's space in there. So I open the drawer. To find it chock full of t-shirts. A drawer completely full of tops. A drawer I haven't even opened in, easily, at least 8 months.

I desperately need to do a major clothing cleanout.

Another job done!

Just got all Christmas decorations taken down and put away! (Well, except for the outside deer but that's cuz it's 11:00 pm and dark out and I still have to dig a path to the shed. Maybe I should just take my coworker up on her offer to borrow coloured plastic eggs to hang off their antlers to make them Easter Deer. And now I'm thinking of replacing all the white bulbs on them with pastel blue, pink, yellow, and green!).

Anyway, another job done! And not a day too soon! Especially since the groundhogs didn't see their shadows, so spring is right around the corner.

Go me! Now I'm ready for the New Year! Maybe I'd be better off forgetting the Western New Year and just focusing on preparing myself for the Chinese one.
