I used to describe my music tastes as "liking anything but heavy metal and country". Since I've moved up here, the exposure to country music has increased, even if only because the whole hip hop/rap scene doesn't really drown it out. Just meant there were more stations I scrolled by.
But lately, there's been a change. Every once in a while, as I scan radio stations, I'll stop on a song that sounds good. And partway through? I'll realize it's country.
Or I went into a music store yesterday and went to look at a CD I was inexplicably drawn to. Also country.
And, just now, noticed that, for the last 15 minutes, the country music video station has been on the television. I don't even know how I ended up on it. Even worse, about 3 songs played before I even realized it.
It's one thing if my tolerance of country music is growing. Tolerance is a good thing. But I'm worried it's a bit more than that. I'm worried that I'm actually starting to *like* it.
Please help.

Can't help. Our mutual friend in Florida and I almost went to a country bar in Daytona last week, but we didn't know where to find one.
Oh no. All three of you? Country? BAH!
(There will be no country music played at my wedding, no matter how many times you ask the DJ for it.)
;-)
hehe... this is great news!
ugh, i know what you mean! i'm alternately looking for adorable cowboys and being disgusted with myself for liking country music.
i hope one of you will be kind enough to shoot me should i ever decide that a mini skirt and cowboy boots is a good fashion choice.
